The Rotary Club of Tyrone, Pa. (Club No. 5292)
was chartered on January 11, 1939 under the sponsorship of
the Rotary Club of Altoona.
The Rotary Club of Tyrone is affiliated with
Rotary International, the
world’s first service club organization. Its members
volunteer their time and talent to further the Rotary motto,
“Service Above Self.”
Tyrone Rotary is a member club of
Rotary District 7350,
which comprises areas of central Pennsylvania, western
Maryland, and eastern West Virginia.
The locality of the Club is the geographical
area encompassed by the Tyrone Area School District, Tyrone,
Pennsylvania.
Tyrone Rotarians meet on Mondays at 5:45 p.m.
at Burley’s Restaurant, 954 Pennsylvania Avenue, Tyrone.
