Tyrone Rotary is involved in “The Dictionary Project,” which is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to improve the reading ability and comprehension of all children everywhere. The Club completed its fourth consecutive year, distributing dictionaries as gifts to third-grade pupils in the Tyrone area elementary schools. Rotarian Michelle Baughman is the “Dictionary Lady.” At the Tyrone Area Elementary School, three pupil representatives from each of the four third-grade classes beam over receipt of their own personal dictionary.
